What is Slo?
Slo is a coding agent that runs in your terminal. You describe the work, and it reads your code, writes the change, tests it and reviews it. It works the way your team works, because your conventions are written down as skills it follows on every task.
Why it exists
Coding agents are good at first drafts. The trouble starts after that. Each person prompts differently, each model has its own habits, and each session forgets what the last one learned. The code that comes out looks a little different every time. Reviews take longer. Conventions drift.
Slo is built for the part after the first draft:
- Conventions as skills. 116 built-in skills cover how to write routers, services, tests, migrations, specs and reviews. You can replace any of them with your own.
- Workflows with checkpoints. Specs are verified before code is written. Code is tested and reviewed before it's called done.
- A team when you need one. For big jobs, Slo splits the work across sub-agents with their own clean context, and checks what they did.
- A memory. Your
SLO.md, project notes and knowledge base carry what you've learned from one session to the next.
What you get
- The
sloterminal app, plusslo runfor scripts and CI. - 116 skills and two built-in workflows: feature specifications and code-test-review.
